Established in 2024, Fawn Meadow Group LLC was founded with the firm belief that all companies and organizations should be able to successfully manage their IT and service providers, not the other way around. We are driven by our ethos that every organization deserves access to unbiased IT expertise, leadership and guidance — without strings attached.

About the Principal

Joseph R. Sousa, M.S., CISSP – Founder and Principal

With over 20 years in the public and private sector in roles as Director of Technology, VP & Solutions Architect, and Network Security Analyst, Joe’s approach is both strategic and hands-on tactical, with a keen ability to weave seamlessly between the two in order to solve complex problems. He has led technology transformations in education, non-profits, utilities, and businesses. His approach is security-first, seeking opportunities to improve organizational security, efficiency, and productivity while being highly budget-conscious.

Joe holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Technology from Central Connecticut State University, where he is currently an adjunct professor of cybersecurity. He holds active certifications from ISC2, of which he is a member in good standing, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified in Cybersecurity (CC). He also holds CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications, and credentials from The Cybersecurity Coalition and Proofpoint.
